'If you love well recorded organs, recordings with all the resonance, air, and full frequency response that you hear when you’re listening to it live, you need to get this outstanding new recording made by Jake Purches for his Base2 Music label. Over recent years, Jake has released some stellar organ recordings, but this is perhaps his best yet. When I first listened to the opening track, all I could say in my head was WOW! It sounds so good, so realistic, so filled with the sonics of an excellent organ played in a marvellous natural acoustic space.' Rushton Paul.

Our artiste roster currently are Jean-Paul Imbert, concert organist, professor and teacher of hundreds of the next two generations of organists, who was a pupil of Pierre Cochereau and Jean Guillou, and became substitute with Guillou on the great organ of St Eustache of Paris. Jean-Paul has recorded organ works by César Franck and our new album titled 'Passacaglia', with pieces from Couperin, Buxtehude, Bach, Reger, Rogg and Ferrari, all based on the 3/4 timed 'Passacaglia' bass theme. This was recorded on the mighty Seifert organ of Marienbasilika in Kevelaer, Germany and is out now.
